Distronode Moves Email Into Each Region, Adds One Publish to District Studio
Account, service and booking email is now sent by Amazon SES from each workspace's region. District Studio now publishes changes in one step.
Distronode now sends each District AI workspace's email from that workspace's own region. Account, verification and service email, and the booking confirmations a workspace's scheduling page sends, go out through Amazon SES in Montréal for Canada, Frankfurt for Europe, Singapore for Asia-Pacific and Northern Virginia for the United States. Until November 2, Postmark sent this email from the United States for every workspace.
Postmark no longer sends any workspace's email. It may still hold messages it sent earlier until Distronode closes the account, which its sub-processor register will announce. Where an email goes after it leaves Distronode depends on the recipient's own email provider.
Some email still comes from the United States: messages from the contact form on distronode.com and Distronode's own operations alerts, which are not a workspace's email. A password reset, activation link or account notice asked for on distronode.com is handed to the account's region and sent from there for an account that existed before October 10, 2026. An account created in Canada, Europe or Asia-Pacific since then is not yet known to distronode.com, so those requests go through distronode.ca, europe.distronode.com or apac.distronode.com, where every step runs in the region.
Other services still run outside a workspace's region, and Distronode names each one on its region pages. Payments and some phone and text-message services run in the United States, every visit reaches Distronode through a global network edge first, and for workspaces outside Europe its monitoring tools are in the European Union. A frozen earlier copy of the sign-in, account, team and number routing records is kept in the United States so Distronode can roll back.
Distronode has also changed how a receptionist's settings go live in District Studio. Edits in Receptionist settings, from the name and greeting to the voice, skills, call handling and video, and in Business basics on the Knowledge page, now wait in one draft. The Receptionist page shows how many changes are not live yet, and one "Review and publish" lists only the settings that change, each as it is live now and as it will be after publishing. One Publish makes them all live together from the next call, and calls already in progress keep the current version. A few settings, such as telling callers they are speaking with an AI receptionist and API connectors, still save on their own and say so. The one Publish is on for every workspace.
Customers have nothing to change. What moved and how the one Publish works is on the Distronode blog.
About Distronode. Distronode Corporation is a federally incorporated Canadian telecommunications company. It provides business phone numbers, calls and texts in Canada, the United States and Europe, and builds District AI, the receptionist that answers them, the desk behind it, and the app that carries it. It publishes where every call is handled.
