The native District AI app for iPhone and iPad, one universal app on iOS 17 and later. It places and answers calls, and covers the inbox, contacts, meeting rooms and workspace settings of a District AI workspace.

One app for iPhone and iPad
Three columns on an iPad
On an iPad's full width the app is a sidebar, a list and the open item, for Calls, Inbox, Contacts, Desk and Support. In a narrow Split View it becomes the iPhone's tab bar, and a rotation or a resize keeps the open screen and a call in progress.
Held to the service's own answers
The repository carries responses recorded from the District AI service, and its tests fail on a field the app does not model. A change on the server cannot slip past the app unnoticed.
Builds without an account
No certificates or provisioning profiles are committed. Without a District AI account you can still build the app, run every unit test and run the signed-out interface tests.

What is open source, and what is not
What is open source
This app, under Apache-2.0: you can read it, build it and change it. The District AI and Distronode names, logos and app icon are trademarks, so a build you distribute uses its own name, icon and bundle identifier.
A build from this repository reports no crashes: crash reporting starts only when a key is supplied at build time, and the repository ships it empty.
What is not
The District AI service the app talks to. A build from this source still needs a District AI account to sign in.
Without an account with us
Today the apps need a District AI account to sign in. We want them to work without an account with us too. We have not worked out what that looks like or whether it can work, and the answer depends on what people would use them with, so we are asking before we build anything.
