Connects your calls & texts
| Sub-processor | What it does | Region |
|---|---|---|
| Twilio | Carries your phone calls and text messages. Calls we place for European workspaces over Twilio connect through Twilio's Dublin edge in Ireland. | US / EU handoff |
| Sinch | Sends and receives SMS messages, and carries some calls. | US |
| Telnyx | An additional carrier for calls and texts. Calls we place for European workspaces are handed to Telnyx in Frankfurt, the calls we place for Canadian workspaces are handed to Telnyx in Montreal, and a call arriving on a Canadian number we issue through Telnyx is delivered from its Canadian gateway to Montreal. | US / EU / CA handoff |
Runs the platform
| Sub-processor | What it does | Region |
|---|---|---|
| Google Cloud Platform (Google LLC) | Runs our databases, storage, and AI — your workspace data is stored in your chosen region. | Your region |
| Amazon Web Services (Amazon Web Services, Inc.) | Runs the website, dashboard and workspace database for Canada, Europe and Asia-Pacific, handles Canadian and European in-browser call media, carries a Canadian workspace's telephone calls in both directions when the number was issued through Telnyx, and since September 2026 turns speech into text and back for new Canadian workspaces. | Your region |
| Cloudflare, Inc. | Protects and speeds up our websites, and holds our encrypted backups. | Global / EU |
| Redis Ltd. (Redis Cloud) | Coordinates live calls across our servers and holds the short-lived operational state that keeps the service running. | US / EU / CA |
Turns speech into text — and back
| Sub-processor | What it does | Region | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Deepgram | Turns caller speech into text, and our replies into a voice — the engine a new workspace starts on everywhere except Canada. European workspaces use its European endpoint. | US / EU | |
| ElevenLabs | An optional voice for the assistant. | US | optional |
| Cartesia | An optional voice for the assistant, on Cartesia's Sonic model. | US | optional |
| AssemblyAI | An optional speech-to-text engine. European workspaces use its EU data zone. | US / EU | optional |
| Inworld | An experimental voice engine, not yet generally available. | US | experimental |
| Tavus | Optional video avatar for face-to-face calls — off unless you turn it on. | US | optional, off by default |

When you contact support
Our support desk is the one place where data does not stay in your workspace's region: a single desk, hosted in Canada, receives requests from all four regions. If your workspace is in Europe, the United States or Asia-Pacific, your support request is held in Canada rather than in your own region. You can also reach us at legal@distronode.com without using the form. The support form on this website is open to anyone and does not require an account, so a request can be sent by someone who is not a customer at all.
| Sub-processor | What it does | Region |
|---|---|---|
| Atlassian (Atlassian Pty Ltd) | Runs our support desk, so it holds the support requests you send us and our replies. One site in Canada serves all four regions. | CA (all regions) |
Website analytics
Analytics that runs in your browser is consent-gated in regions that require prior consent. Some product lifecycle events are sent from our own servers instead, without cookies and without loading anything in your browser; those are described in each entry below. See the Privacy Policy for details.
| Sub-processor | What it does | Region | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Stape | First-party gateway for our website analytics, hosted in Canada. | Canada | consent-gated |
| Google Analytics & Google Ads (Google LLC) | Measures sign-ups and purchases — only with your consent. | US | consent-gated |
| LinkedIn (LinkedIn Corporation) | Measures which of our LinkedIn ads led to a sign-up — only with your consent. | US | consent-gated |
| Mixpanel (Mixpanel, Inc.) | Shows us how the signed-in dashboard is actually used, held in the EU. Never your calls, messages or contacts. | EU | consent-gated |
Keeps the service reliable
These services process limited operational data to keep the platform reliable and secure.
Optional: business-contact enrichment
Used only where a workspace turns on lead enrichment. Enrichment is off by default.
| Sub-processor | What it does | Region | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| People Data Labs | Looks up business details for your contacts — only if you turn enrichment on. | US | off by default |
| Apollo.io | Backup source for business-contact lookups — only if enrichment is on. | US | off by default |
| SerpAPI | Web search used during enrichment — only if it's on. | US | off by default |
Our own marketing
This group covers Distronode publishing its own posts to its own accounts, and no customer personal data is involved in any of it. We post to Bluesky, Facebook, Instagram, Threads and LinkedIn through each platform's own interface, and to X and Reddit through one publishing tool that relays them on our behalf. The social platforms receiving our posts are not sub-processors of your data, because none of your data reaches them; the relay is listed because it is a third party that acts for us.
| Sub-processor | What it does | Region | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Bluesky (Bluesky Social, PBC) | Receives our own Bluesky posts directly. No customer data. | N/A | admin-only, no customer data |
| Zernio | The publishing tool that posts our own X and Reddit updates for us. No customer data. | N/A | admin-only, no customer data |
